AMPP India Chapter is pleased to announce its upcoming Virtual Educational Training Program on “Atmospheric Corrosivity Assessment & Protective Coating Systems”, scheduled on 08 – 09 September 2026.
Atmospheric corrosion is a major factor affecting the performance, durability and service life of steel structures and assets exposed to different environmental conditions. A proper understanding of atmospheric corrosivity, environmental classification and appropriate protective coating systems is essential for effective corrosion prevention and long-term asset protection.
This two-day practical training program has been designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of atmospheric corrosivity assessment and protective coating systems, with particular emphasis on ISO 9223 and ISO 12944. The program will also cover practical aspects of coating selection, surface preparation, coating application, durability and industrial case studies.

Mode of Delivery: Online (Live Virtual Sessions)
The detailed technical program covers the above topics over two days, with sessions scheduled from 09:30 hrs to 15:00 hrs.
