Since 2020 ‘Direct Farmer Producer Company to Consumer’ Sale of Ratnagiri/Devgad Alphonso Mangoes sourced from Member Farmers
The company has shipped Alphonso mango boxes to Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Sangli, Solapur, Nashik, Nagpur, Belgaum, Bangalore, etc.

Coconut processing project of 5.48 crore has been sanctioned to the company from the state government’s SMART scheme (Subsidy 2.99 crore). The preliminary level work of this project is in progress.

Direct sales from the company to the consumer ensure that consumers get mangoes at a good price and the farmers who produce them also get a fair reward for their hard work.
The company has a system of backward traceability. With which only the best quality mango reaches the consumer as quality of fruit is responsibility of the farmer.

Company information
Konkan Development Agro Producer Company is a company established by the farmers of Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg District.

The aim of this company is to bring economic prosperity to the farmers of Kokan region (Konkan) through agriculture.

For this the following different types of work is carried out by the company.

Training of farmers – Providing training by the company to the members on vegetable farming, beekeeping, orchards, natural farming, organic farming, bamboo farming and many other subjects from agricultural experts to increase their farm income

Input Supply – To supply seeds as well as fertilizers and medicines to the members at wholesale prices from the company’s agricultural service center.

Supply of tools – Providing all agricultural implements from the company’s implement bank at low rent.

Purchase – To purchase their agricultural produce from the members as well as other farmers within the company area.

Process on farm produce – Processing and value addition of the farm produce in the company’s and members’ processing units.

Sale – Selling the produce and processed goods from the farmer to other agro producer companies and markets like D-Mart, Jio Mart, Copshop.

Assistance to Members
To assist the members to get schemes from agriculture, industry, marketing and other government departments.

Assisting the members in setting up different processing units and also providing raw material to them throughout the year.
